There are periods when we feel connected and alive, and there are other periods when we feel alienated and spent. Nothing wrong with that. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
The spontaneous act indicates the active presence of the divine child. He makes no plans, this One, and does not think. Some men orphan their capacity for surprise in order to get a-head.
Happiness cannot be found outside of ourselves, e.g. in fame, sex, money, children, houses, high office or anything else. Happiness is an inside job. It’s the recognition of our innermost self. Of love.
“You have no choice; you must place your bet.” And there it is, as a whisper, in the spaces between the words: “Put it all on love.”
There is no truth in an emotion. The word emotion, derived from the Latin for agitate, indicates a disturbance. Truth is the awareness of an emotion. Love is not an emotion. It’s imperturbable.
