“I feel lost.” Now, this is not a problem; it’s a mystery. It only becomes a problem when False Self (nabob ego) inserts itself into the condition and says, “You shouldn’t feel lost.”

The placidity of love
There is no truth in an emotion. The word emotion, derived from the Latin for agitate, indicates a disturbance. Truth is the awareness of an emotion. Love is not an emotion. It’s imperturbable.

Whomever we wish to impress, we are enslaved by.

The chief impediment to inner peace: unnecessary thought. If it’s negative, it’s unnecessary.
Wrong about everything
We do not easily (or ever!) divest ourselves of our opinions. Sometimes Life takes pity on us, slaps us upside the head and brings us face-to-face with this: “I’ve been wrong about everything.”
