Swift and sudden

We do not change ourselves by adding to ourselves. More money? More possessions? More experiences? Accumulation prevents what we imagine it facilitates. Real change is radical subtraction, a letting go, swift and sudden.

What he’s worth

The true man is non-violent. This means that his level of self-concern is low to non-existent. He functions normally but one vacancy sets him apart: He has no interest in profit and loss.

Giving

Outflow determines inflow. Not only does this not make sense, it seems antagonistic to sense. Sense in this context is ego. Ego exists in a permanent state of insufficiency, of not enough.

No good deed was ever executed in the future. There is no master plan, nor any need for one. Nothing in Nature makes plans.
