Love is radically inclusive, has no favourites, admits no exceptions, neither waxes nor wanes. We cannot speak of ‘true’ love because love cannot be commodified, categorized or confined. “Love everything that breathes,” said Gurdjieff.
Surrender to the fact that you cannot stop thinking, that there is no ‘off’ button, and that any effort you make will only exacerbate the problem. There is no situation that cannot be improved on by allowing it, by relaxing into it. That’s why children learn so quickly—they’re not trying to learn. Take one easy breath. Now take three more. There we go.

Men are taught how to fix things. What they’re not taught is how to be a space for what happens. How to allow. How not to resist. “Male and female he created them, and called their name Adam, in the day they were created.”
Our primary task is not a task. It’s to let things be precisely as they are.
