Bodies come and go but the life that we are does not die.
We have three operational centres: Mind thinks, Heart feels, Body acts. We know this because they change. (We cannot see what does not change.) After waxing and waning, the centres shut down. This does not affect us.
Where were you before you woke up this morning. Of course, we know where your body was—that speck of a thing lying on a mattress. But where were you?
If I think of myself mostly as a body, I will see the world primarily in material terms.
