If we don’t know what’s going to happen, and if we’re comfortable with not knowing, then we’re a channel for Life rather than an obstruction. To find our comfort in not knowing is to embody trust in its highest degree.
We’re forged in fire. Wouldn’t it be nice if a La-Z-Boy could do what fire does?
When I was in primary school I got into a physical fight with a classmate. It ended briefly with me sitting on his chest. And I was crying. And he looked up at me and said, “It’s OK. It’s OK.”
On the inner journey, we encounter two enemies: comfort and convention. “Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to rest.” And convention? In 2020, our position remains that men in suits know what they’re talking about.
