We are not free until we are aware of ourselves acting automatically, until we see how patterned and predictable we are. This enacted automatism is like clanging around in a suit of armour.

Small outer world, big inner one. All of reality filtered through plus-sized head. Lensed eyes emit faint sucking sound. Considers his 150-pound body. Asks, What’s this for? Dream vacation: Two weeks in a turret where he can see the most while being seen the least.
Sex
Man is a three-brained animal: head, heart, gut. The gut brain is the sex centre. It has two modes of being: attraction or indifference. Pills to enhance sexual function can override indifference but they cannot alter it.
