So then, how to tell the difference between the true and the false, the real and the unreal? Whatever has a beginning and an end is false. All else is true. From A Course in Miracles: “Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.”
Who am I? The answer is in the question. All else is who I am not.
Of the outer world, that of form and flags, we know a lot. Of the inner world, that of emptiness and silence, we know a little. We go where our interest takes us.
Bodies come and go but the life that we are does not die.
If I think of myself mostly as a body, I will see the world primarily in material terms.
