Some of us have a tendency to hold forth, to speechify. Awareness of this stops it. But the awareness must be right there, in the moment of loquacity.
Don’t take sex too seriously. It is, after all, just a habit. Habits can be indulged, cultivated, hung onto, detached from or broken. Whatever seems right and natural, that’s the thing to do.
What we call the human person is a 50 trillion-celled constellation of habits and memories. When these go, so does the person.
