The name of God

Two of India’s greatest sages, Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj, arrived at the same conclusion: Of all of God’s names, “none is indeed so well put as the biblical statement “I am that I am”.” (Exodus 3:14) In the New Testament, we read that Jesus was nearly stoned to death for saying “Very truly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I AM.” (John 8:58)

Perfect

If I knew myself to the innermost point of my being, I would not second-guess myself, doubt myself, criticize myself, improve myself, compare myself or forgive myself. And I would never ever apologize.

I Am That

Our fascination with bodies effectively obscures True Self, which does not change, age, fall ill or die. I am the light of the world, I AM said, a solar system bar-coded as “Keith.”

The beauty principle

A man went to India where he met a guru. He asked the guru what he should do. The guru said, “Don’t do anything.” Jesus spoke likewise: “Look at the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.”
