The idea isn’t to change yourself but to accept yourself. Acceptance changes everything.
The problem with surrender is that it doesn’t make sense. To wit: Resist nothing. Make friends with what happens. Say “yes” to what is. I mean, c’mon.
Resist not evil. This means, everything that happens in life, happens for the best. It means that the distinction between good and evil is a false distinction. Taekwondo makes this teaching less abstract.
