A time to weep
There are 3,200 tigers living in the wild. Most tigers, about 5,000 of them, are held in captivity in the U.S. Sometimes these majesties wind up in houses or apartments. Or Las Vegas.
Belief, Beowulf, Beliebers
The problem is not that we have negative thoughts. The problem is we believe them. Our faces ossify into tableaux of belief.
Nothing in the natural world believes. Especially flowers. Those beautiful losers.
Argue-mental
No one wins an argument. An argument is one mental/emotional structure bashing against another. There may be noise, excitement, even victory, but there will be no peace. The chief blessing of the natural world is that it has no opinions. It is perfectly capable of taking defensive measures, as it is doing right now, but it has no opinions. It will not argue with humans.
