The first quality of the awakened male is ordinariness. His ordinariness fulfills what was foretold about the Christ in Isaiah: “There was nothing attractive about him, nothing that would draw us to him.”

The limits of self-improvement

In order for new Adam to emerge, old Adam has to be obliterated. There are no charms in a patched suit.
