We are exhorted to think outside the box. Unfortunately, thinking is the box.
Nothing changes—nothing can change—until we learn how to do nothing.
More suffering is caused by men who take offence than give offence. The quicker we take offence, the more resistance we have. Jesus’ Zen-like teaching on this dukes the mind: Resist not evil.
“I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.”
The “I don’t know” state disables ego and frees consciousness to perform its wonders.
Wisdom has no thought process.
