We are at a moment of planetary crisis. The word “crisis” derives from the Greek word for decision. In every crisis there is an opportunity. The greater the crisis, the greater the opportunity.
The fear-based man is cautious, conventional, and conforming. He makes a virtue out of loyalty. Then some crisis happens. Herein his golden opportunity. He will either be re-wilded or driven deeper into fear.
Stopping on the outside—well, that’s one thing. Stopping on the inside is another thing.
Man’s chief problem is that he thinks involuntarily. He does not choose to think. He is being thought.
An attitude of gratitude releases opportunity. Gratitude recognizes surplus. It pours itself out.
