Be nothing

Humble describes a man who doesn’t have any ideas about himself. In this respect, he’s like a child. Children don’t say “I’m this” or “I’m that.” They just are. Undefined, unconditioned and free.

It is not possible to change another person. Neither is it necessary. We make this discovery when we change ourselves.

Beware of the reformers, of the men who polish the mirror. You and me, let us change what appears in the mirror. Let us change our face.
