I’m so very sorry

Forgiveness has naught to do with making apologies. In fact, it has nothing to do with words at all. Forgiveness is the recognition of myself in you, of our deeply held common interest.

Sidewinders

Forgiveness recognizes that every person acts according to his highest level of consciousness. Which, in some cases, is lower than a snake’s belly in a wagon rut.

Mind games

Inner peace is not an achievement, the result of a process. It is the recognition NOW that fear is a falsehood, a hypnotic induction, a trick of the mind.

Fools and fingers

We recognize ignorance when we see it. Wisdom? Not so much. Not at all.

Wisdom is the screen onto which the mind projects its pictures. It’s featureless, invariable, changeless and impersonal. It does not push against or argue. It’s not in the news.

Words are not the truth. They may, in a certain kind of light, point to the truth.

Of course, nobody should spend their entire life looking at a finger. Or, heaven forbid, worshipping one.
