We think we are moving forward but that is not all we do. We also move backward. The last movement in my Qigong series is just that—two steps forward, two steps back. Good long walks are restorative but they too return us to the place we started from.
We need to follow our enthusiasms, our in-god-ness. Whether it’s an enthusiasm for sex, travel, music or magic, follow that as far as it takes you. Eventually, every road returns us to ourselves.
