Inadvertence

We are standing at the punchbowl, glass in hand. Dude ambles over and we say, “Help yourself.” He doesn’t know it and we don’t either, but a spiritual pointer has just been expressed.

Pain

Pain is not for running from. Where else do we learn acceptance, non-resistance and courage? How else do we cultivate endurance? From pain issues the profundo note of a deep and sober joy.
