Jesus talked about two roads. The road to destruction is easy and well-travelled. The road to life is hard with few travellers. Therefore, comfort is our enemy. There is no safety in numbers.
The real calamity is not that we die but that we are born. There is no school of truth. We are fated to find out the hard way that life has no opposite.
In abnormal times, normalcy marks the oddball.
