Give up waiting. Waiting is a state of mind. Nothing in the natural world waits. Trees don’t wait, bears don’t fret, flowers aren’t anxious. We practise this small surrender while standing in line.
The end of grief is this instant.
When Jesus said that the wise man builds his house on a rock, he wasn’t talking about an actual house and an actual rock. His reference was to our relationship with this instant.
In this instant, in this laser ray of nowness, fear does not exist.
All of life is contained in this instant. There is no other life, no other instant.
