The true man does not take sides. He’s hermaphroditic. He is both sides.
The true man is two-faced to this extent: He plays the game alright but it doesn’t matter to him whether he wins or loses.
The true man does not compete, has no ambition. His eyes are quiet.
A man’s personality is his defence system against fear and uncertainty. This mind-based facade lasts as long as the body does. Some men die before they die; they drop the pseudo-self before leaving the body. We call these nobodies enlightened.
