The fear-based man is cautious, conventional, and conforming. He makes a virtue out of loyalty. Then some crisis happens. Herein his golden opportunity. He will either be re-wilded or driven deeper into fear.

Clown school

I have an M.Div. A colleague called this the post-graduate equivalent of a degree from clown school. He was referencing a long and disordered lineage of holy fools. “Look, Mom! A Standing Baba!”

Wildness

To be wild is to be self-determined—unfettered, beyond control or restraint. Men will say it in different ways but they want to be free. The question is, “How do I re-wild myself?”
