Willpower is ego as a fist-faced life coach. In truth, it’s our worst instinct working from home, sprawled out in a La-Z-Boy, all gassy and greasy fingered, inciting us to fight with ourselves.
Men who are free are disciplined. Discipline comes from the Latin word for pupil. A free man is a learner, an empty bowl. Discipline has nothing to do with self-will. Self-will is self-abuse.
