Awake in a dream (3)

In the dream state, we are not in control of what happens. Things happen and we respond to what happens. Likewise, in the wake state, we are also not in control. Life happens and we respond to what happens. The idea of control, of making it happen, is like all of the ideas we have about ourselves: false. We are awake in a dream when we know we are not in control.
